Transparency Training: 1 February 2024

We are pleased to confirm that the FLBA has arranged for Lucy Reed KC to deliver a training session for our members on transparency via Zoom on 1 February 2024 at 5 pm.

The session will be chaired by Leslie Samuels KC.

The training will cover transparency issues both in children and in money cases. It is timed to coincide with the extension (on 29 January 2024) of the coverage of the current children transparency pilot to half of the DFJ areas in the country together with the commencement of the transparency reporting pilot in relation to financial remedy cases which will commence at the Central Family Court (including CFC cases heard at the RCJ and Birmingham and Leeds Family Courts and which will be extended to High Court cases at the RCJ in November 2024).

The training will last for 1 hour and will be recorded.
