Panel Event for Pupil Barristers, recent Tenants and Junior Barristers

22 October 2026, 6pm – 7pm, remote on zoom.

This is a panel event organised by the FLBA junior sub-committee. It is aimed at those who are pupils or junior tenants. 

The panel will begin with an opening and introduction by the Chair of the FLBA, Leslie Samuels K.C, followed by a panel discussion relating to what pupils and new tenants can expect from a career at the bar. The panel will discuss their experiences, what to expect and what will be expected of you. There will be time at the end of the session for questions from the attendees.

The panel will feature:

• Roheema Yasmin. A recent tenant who undertook her pupillage in 2025 – 2026 and was the recipient of the FLBA scholarship. 
• Kyra Cornwall. A barrister and pupil supervisor at 1 Hare Court.
• Her Honour Judge Harrison. A Family Court Judge. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2008 and a Circuit Judge in 2022. She is the Financial Remedies Court Regional Lead Judge for Lancashire and Cumbria.
